My traveling solo exhibition, Keeping House, is scheduled to be exhibited in my home town of Austin, TX for this first time this September at the Dougherty Art Center. The show is rescheduled from 2020, and is tentative pending the municipality's COVID-19 recovery, but my fingers are crossed!
The Willie Mae Kirk library will be hosting my newest public art work starting in September of this year. Illuminated portraits of the six women who served with Kirk on Austin's first ever Human Relations Commission in 1968 will be visible in the entranceways. The work is commissioned as part of the City of Austin's 2021 Tempo Program.
