Veronica Ceci is a Queer intermedia artist based in Austin, TX. Known for their detailed portraiture and public artworks, Ceci's practice shines a light on overlooked histories and undervalued labor. Through intense materiality, repetition, and lived performance, they make the invisible visible, using a wide range of mediums to engage audiences in deeper conversations.

Originally trained as a Master Printer, Ceci has since expanded their practice to include sculpture, sign painting, mosaic work, and independent curatorial projects. Since 2021, they have been a member of the Icosa Collective, a non-hierarchical group that runs one of Austin’s premier gallery spaces, where they continue to explore the intersections of craft, labor, and identity. As part of the ATX Mosaic Workshop, Veronica has contributed several portrait pieces to the ongoing Legends series, furthering their engagement with public art and community narratives.

Their work has been exhibited at institutions including the Cleveland Museum of Art, Contemporary Art Center New Orleans, and the International Print Center New York. Their pieces are held in collections such as the Library of Congress, the National Women's History Museum, and the Zuckerman Museum of Art.

In addition to their studio practice, Ceci curates exhibitions that center marginalized voices and foster inclusive spaces for artists and audiences alike, such as the annual No Body Passes exhibition in collaboration with Thee Gay Agenda and Salvage Vanguard Theater.
